My first RTF blog

Hi, this is Steven Joseph Aragon. I go by Joe though. I wanted to take the RTF 305 course because new media is a real passion of mine, and a field so broad and important to today's culture that the possibilities of such a course would be endless. With that in mind, and knowing the reputation of the RTF program at UT as a whole, I decided to major in RTF. I am excited to see where my first RTF classes take me, and I know that my interest in the subject will be sustained all semester. I hope to learn more about new media through this class, and hope to gain a better understanding of the social, psychological, and cultural impact of different media forms on the world today.
